Visitation Guidelines

We hope you enjoy your visit at Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital.  We encourage family involvement and communication, so visitation is held daily.  Thank you for being involved in your family or loved one’s treatment.  Please review the following guidelines before your visit in order to protect the safety, confidentiality, and privacy of our patients.

  • Patient ID.  All patients have a four digit number that they must provide to anyone with whom they want to have contact during their stay.  The number can only be provided by the patient and is to protect confidentiality. We cannot confirm that the individual is at the hospital nor allow visitation without the patient ID number.
  • Confidentiality. Upon arrival, visitors will be required to read and sign that they agree to comply with Federal Confidentiality Law.
  • Purses, Cell Phones, Food and Drink, etc.  Visitors are not allowed to bring items onto the unit with the exception of approved clothing and toiletries.  We suggest that you leave these items locked in the trunk of your vehicle.
  • Children. Visitors must be at least 18 years of age and children cannot be left unaccompanied in the lobby.
  • Visitation Schedule.  Visitors are allowed on a case by case basis as determined by the patient’s assigned social worker. Only two adult visitors at a time are allowed to visit a patient on the unit.  Please do not enter the hospital if you have a cold, sore throat, or other virus or infection.  Since patients are susceptible to contagious illness and may have a compromised immune system, please call or write in place of visiting.
